Hello all, it’s been a few weeks since I wrote anything and I wanted to do a quick update.
In an internal SCRUBS tournament from a few weeks ago, I did OK, but regressed to the mean. I took an excruciating final round loss to PE, because the universe wanted me to eat lethal net damage from the ID ability one last time. I was playing carefully damnit!
I haven’t had a chance to watch CBI replays- I did look at decklists briefly, but wasn’t able to really process what it all meant from a metagame perspective. I do want to highlight NotAgain’s Outfit list which was innovative and the write-up is a work of genius.
There’s been one AMT since then, which I haven’t even looked at. There’s another one this weekend.
If you’re into the competitive scene and played at all this year, be sure to fill out NSG’s survey.
I’m currently half-way through an Honor Mode (no barrel/crate/stealth/Tavern Brawler cheese self-imposed limitations) run of BG3, send your positive vibes my way, the hardest situations in the game have this amazing ability to just horrendously punish you for tiny errors and mis-clicks, impatience, or autopilot play. I’m also playing with the additional constraints that certain Act 3 bosses HAVE to die, because they are grimdark-level awful and Faerun deserves better.
That’s it until April and card preview season.
Cheers!
The lack of Bridgeman love for the CBI lists is disturbing.
O7 for now. Looking forward to the next one regardless.
